Welcome to Orange
A high altitude food and wine region in the Central West of NSW, Orange is located 3.5hrs west of Sydney and a similar distance north of Canberra. The town sits at an elevation of around 930m and is surrounded by hundreds of kilometres of excellent road, gravel & MTB riding.
The Ride Orange website provides a collection of cycling routes in the area, created by local cyclists and selected to offer the best rides through our stunning Central West landscapes on the quietest roads. The site also provides some local knowledge on where to stop, what to wear and gear selection. Enjoy.

Cargo Gravel
Ride the fire trails of Canobolas State Forest to Cargo, grab a coffee or beer and then climb back up to Orange. A challenging ride with a mix of pine forest and picturesque rolling landscapes.
