Orange is blessed with an abundance of excellent cellar doors reasonably close to town. I’ve put together some rides of varying lengths that will take you to the cellar doors of the Pinnacle, Nashdale, Millthorpe, and Borenore (coming soon). These routes all involve riding on local roads and some hills, so make sure you are comfortable riding with cars and have a reasonable level of fitness.
Note: These rides combine cycling on roads in traffic with alcohol, so please take care and have a plan B (taxi, uber, friend etc) if you find you’ve had too much to drink to ride safely. All cellar doors will also have spittoons to taste more wines but reduce alcohol intake.
Disclaimer: Cycling is an activity that inherently involves risk, especially when riding on the road. Whilst every care has been taken to collate information to help you to decide where to ride in Orange, ultimately the responsibility for the ride and assessment of the risk involved in that ride is yours alone. The Administrators of this website do not make any representation or warranties about its accuracy, reliability, or completeness. Individual caution must be shown.
