Ride Profile
Absolutely glorious… a must-do trail if you like fast, flowing singletrack.
Galinbundinya was completed in 2020 as a multipurpose (walking, running and cycling) trail that follows Boree Creek from just below Federal Falls to the Lidster RFS on Cargo Road. It is 7kms long one-way, located about 15 mins drive from town.
It is a green trail so suitable for most riders, and isn’t too technical but with a couple of tight corners to keep an eye on.
The track is dual-way and can get a bit tight with tall grass on the lower sections so keep an eye out for riders coming the other way. If there are cars in the car park when you arrive, there are likely to be other riders on the track. You can ride up the fire roads to the top of the trail and then ride down if you prefer.
Always keep an eye out for trees down if we’ve had strong winds or storms recently.
Food & Water
No food or water available on route.
Watch out for
Trail Condition: Normally great. Watch for trees down if we’ve had storms. Can get a muddy after rain and is best avoided, check with Orange Mountain Bike club on facebook before riding if unsure.
