Lake Canobolas MTB Park

A series of trails across the road from Lake Canobolas, largely blue & green. Built and maintained by Orange Mountain Bike Club.

Last updated November 16, 2023

Trail Profile

A whole lot of fun packed into a relatively small space. Across the road from Lake Canobolas, open 8am to 8pm 7 days, the MTB park is largely XC focused with some black diamond downhill options. The trail loops progressively get harder as you work your way up to the top before a flowing descent back down.

Trail features include A & B lines, rock gardens, wooden bridges, drop off’s and jump tracks. The trails are well-maintained by Orange Mountain Bike Club and are also well signposted. A & B lines are clearly marked. The trail surface is largely hard-packed clay with some rocks and roots.

Entry to the trail is at the top of the carpark, hop over the low bar and head right on Old Biddy (green) to start. From there it’s on to Blackberry Downs (green) before either heading past the dam to continue the full loop or returning if you want to stick with the green (easy) trails.

Next to the carpark is the Skills Park which features see saws, log runs, drop offs and a small pump track.
